Gainesville Thrives is dedicated to fostering literacy in the areas of Alachua County with the lowest reading scores, ensuring every child has the resources they need to succeed. Our commitment shines through the Imagination Library program, which provides free books to children, igniting a love for reading from an early age. Together, we can build a brighter future by empowering our children with the gift of literacy.

Our Mission

Gainesville Thrives works to promote tutoring and mentoring for kindergarten through high school students, as well as other services for expectant parents, parents and their infants, toddlers, and preschool children. By informing the faith-based community and others of Gainesville's needs and opportunities, we can achieve long-term academic success for students and stronger and healthier families.
